AGEs form slowly, interventions therefore need time to be effective. Plan a follow up visit at least 3 to 4 months ahead. Consistency and lasting behavior change is what really drives better metabolic health.

  • Diet & food quality. Sugar and carb rich diets allow excess sugars to react with proteins to form AGEs. You can also eat AGEs through  your diet.

  • Weight management. Excess weight dysregulates metabolic processes, driving AGE formation.
