Diagnoptics Technologies B.V. (“Diagnoptics”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and safeguard information when you use the AGE Guide mobile application (the “App”). This Policy applies to users located in the United States and the European Economic Area (EEA). Our processing of personal data is governed primarily by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We do not sell or share personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

Diagnoptics Technologies B.V. is the data controller for all processing activities described in this Policy. U.S.-based users may also contact us at the same address or by email for any privacy-related inquiries.
2. Purpose of the App
AGE Guide helps Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) professionals measure and document Advanced Glycation End-products (AGE) values for their clients. The App is intended for professional use only. Practitioners are responsible for obtaining explicit consent from each client before entering any personal or health-related information into the App. Users can delete their account or request removal of stored data directly within the App’s settings.
3. Information we collect
We collect only the data required to provide and improve our services.
User Account Data: When you register or log in, we collect your name, address, phone number, email address, and clinic name.
Client Data (entered by professionals): Professionals may enter their clients’ name, gender, birthdate, and AGE measurement results. This is considered health-related data and qualifies as special-category data under Article 9 of the GDPR. Such data is treated with the highest level of confidentiality and security.
Technical Information: We may record device type, operating system, and limited usage logs to maintain and troubleshoot the App. We do not track location, use cookies, or include analytics or advertising technologies.
4. How we use information
We process personal data only to:

– Provide access to subscription-based features;
– Maintain and improve App performance and security; and
– Fulfil legal and regulatory requirements.

6. Subscriptions and payments
AGE Guide provides subscription plans for professional users. All payments are handled securely by an independent third-party payment processor. Diagnoptics Technologies B.V. does not collect or store any credit-card or banking details. Information on how payment data is processed can be obtained directly from the payment provider’s own privacy notice.
7. Data storage and security
We maintain a comprehensive information-security program to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. Data is encrypted both in transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest, stored on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA), and accessed only by authorized personnel under strict access controls. If data must be transferred outside the EEA, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) to ensure equivalent protection.
8. Data Retention
Personal data is kept only for as long as needed for the purposes outlined in this Policy:
– Account information – up to 2 years after the last user activity;
– Client (health) data – until deleted by the professional user;
– Billing and subscription records – up to 7 years to meet legal obligations;
– Backups and system logs – automatically deleted within 90 days.
Data may be retained longer only where required by law or to resolve disputes.
9. Sharing and Transfers
We do not disclose personal information except where required by law or to service providers acting on our behalf, such as:
– Secure cloud-hosting services;
– Email or notification delivery platforms;
– Subscription and billing processors.
All service providers are bound by written data-processing agreements that meet GDPR requirements. Diagnoptics does not sell or share personal data for advertising or marketing purposes.
10. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
– Access the personal data we hold about you;
– Request correction of inaccurate information;
– Request deletion of your data;
– Limit or object to specific processing; and
– Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
You can exercise these rights directly through the App by navigating to Settings → Account → Delete Account / Export Data, or by contacting us at privacy@diagnoptics.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days.
11. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. Users under 13 are not permitted to create accounts in compliance with U.S. COPPA regulations. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child without valid consent, we will delete it immediately.
12. Updates to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When significant changes occur, users will be notified through the App or by email. The latest version will always be available within the App and on our website.
